There are 2 types of objects that a noun can be.

Firstly, there is the Direct object and, secondly, the Indirect object.

Consider the following illustrations:
1. The man bought his wife a car.
2. The governor bought the students a bus
3. The architect designed his mother a detached duplex.

In each of the three examples above, we have both the direct and indirect objects. Let us look at them closely:
